AND THEN THE MAY REVISION ALSO ASSUMES WHAT WE'RE CALLING A GROWTH RECESSION. SO WE ARE NOT IN AN ECONOMIC DOWNTURN. WE'RE NOT IN A RECESSION. WE ARE GROWING, BUT WE'RE GROWING AT A SLOWER RATE.

AND THEN WITH RISING UNEMPLOYMENT, YOU KNOW, THAT THAT MAKES WHAT WE CALL A GROWTH, GROWTH RECESSION. AND SO JUST FYI, SLOW GROWTH IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH 2028. SOME OF ONE OF THEM, SOME OF THEM ARE LIKE ONE TIME FUNDING, ONE TIME FUNDING SOLUTIONS TO THE TUNE OF 2.9 BILLION FUNDING TO SUPPORT CORE PROGRAMS AND T T K THROUGH 14 PROGRAMS. AND THEN ONCE AGAIN, WE WILL BE DEPLETING THE RAINY DAY FUND. IT'S PROJECTED THAT WE WILL BE DEPLETING THE RAINY DAY FUND, AND THIS YEAR, TO THE TUNE OF 540 MILLION. NOW, I KNOW ALL OF THAT SOUNDS LIKE BAD DOOM AND GLOOM, BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THERE ARE NO PROPOSED LOCAL CUTS IN THIS BUDGET FOR EDUCATION. OKAY, FURTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER. SO NUMBER ONE COST OF LIVING OR COLA. SO THIS TIME LAST YEAR COLA FOR 2526 WAS PROJECTED AT 3.29%. AS OF RIGHT NOW COLA IS BEING PROJECTED AND IN OUR MODELS COLA IS BEING PROJECTED AT 2.3%. SO COLA HAS COME DOWN ONE WHOLE PERCENTAGE POINT. SO OBVIOUSLY WE'VE HAD TO ADJUST FOR THAT IN OUR BUDGET AND IN OUR IN OUR MULTI-YEAR PROJECTIONS. WITH ALL OF THIS, EVEN WITH ALL OF THIS, THE GOVERNOR IS STILL MAKING SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENTS IN EDUCATION. LASTLY, THERE IS THERE IS A ONE TIME BLOCK GRANT THAT'S BEING PROPOSED IN THE MAY REVISION. AND WE'LL WE'LL JUST SEE IF THAT SURVIVES THE BUDGET NEGOTIATIONS. SO TITLE THREE FUNDING IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IS ABOUT 1.1% OF OUR LOCAL CONTROL CONTROLLING FUNDING FORMULA. SO FOR EXAMPLE TITLE THREE IS 153 MILLION. OUR SUPPLEMENTAL AND CONCENTRATION GRANTS IN CALIFORNIA IS 14.2 BILLION. SO YES, IT'S A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF FUNDING AND IT WILL HAVE AN IMPACT FOR US.
